Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 for optimal flavor)

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 large egg (for egg wash)

Sesame seeds (for topping, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Mix in Cheese and Pickles: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped dill pickles. This will be your filling.

Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions. Ensure you keep the dough on a floured surface to avoid sticking.

Assemble the Cheeseburger Sticks: Take a triangle of dough and place about 1-2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger filling at the wider end of the triangle. Roll up the dough, starting from the wider end, and ensure the filling is sealed inside. Pinch the ends to seal completely. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg until combined. Brush the tops of the cheeseburger sticks with the egg wash for a golden finish. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if using.

Air Fry the Sticks: Place the cheeseburger sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch each other. Air fry in batches if necessary. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Serve: Carefully remove the cheeseburger sticks from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces such as ketchup, mustard, or ranch.
