1 cup canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

1 tablespoon tahini

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 medium garlic clove (minced)

2 slices of whole grain or sourdough bread

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional toppings: red pepper flakes, fresh cilantro, radish slices, or a poached egg
