Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or spinach for added nutrition)

8 oz sliced turkey breast (smoked or honey-roasted)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

1 cup fresh spinach leaves or mixed greens

1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/4 cup sliced olives or pickles for extra flavor

Instructions

Prepare the Spread: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. You want it to be smooth with a nice flavor.

Assemble the Tortilla: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean cutting board. Spread a generous layer of the seasoned cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla.

Layer Ingredients: On top of the cream cheese spread, layer the turkey slices evenly. Then, sprinkle the shredded cheese, followed by the fresh spinach leaves and sliced red bell pepper. If using, add olives or pickles at this stage.

Roll the Pinwheels: Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a cylinder shape, making sure to keep all the fillings wrapped inside.

Slice and Serve: Once rolled, place the log seam-side down and use a sharp knife to slice the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange them on a serving platter.

Store or Serve: If making ahead for school lunches, store the pinwheels in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If serving immediately, enjoy these tasty pinwheels as a quick snack or a satisfying lunch.
