4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup homemade or store-bought basil pesto

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

      Sear the Chicken (Optional): In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown (this step adds flavor, but you can skip it to save time).
