1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped

1/2 cup heavy cream

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Base: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and both sugars (brown and granulated) until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

      Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

        Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
