Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 slider rolls

8 slices provolone cheese

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Season the thinly sliced flank steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened and slightly caramelized. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix well. Stir in Worcestershire sauce for added flavor.

Combine Sauce Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. This will be the spread for the slider rolls.

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the halves connected. Spread the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom half of the rolls. Layer the steak and vegetable mixture over the spread and top with provolone cheese slices.

Bake the Sliders: Place the top half of the slider rolls over the cheese. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder or parsley if desired. Wrap the entire slider assembly in aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Remove from the oven and cool slightly. Unwrap, slice individually, and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
