Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (can use rotisserie chicken)

1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup grapes, halved (or dried cranberries if preferred)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried dill or fresh dill, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Chicken Salad: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped celery, red onion, and halved grapes.

Make Dressing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Mix Everything Together: Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir gently until all ingredients are well-coated.

Roll Out Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles.

Fill and Roll: Take a spoonful of the chicken salad mixture and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the wide end to the tip. Ensure the filling is secured inside.

Bake: Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the tip facing down to prevent them from unrolling. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally on a bed of lettuce for a refreshing touch.
