2 large sweet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Lime wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into wedges that are approximately 1-inch thick for even cooking.

      Make the Seasoning Mix: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

        Coat the Wedges: Add the sweet potato wedges to the bowl with the seasoning mix. Toss until every wedge is well-coated with the spice mixture.

          Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned wedges out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure there is space between the wedges for even roasting.

            Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the sweet potatoes for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and tender on the inside.
