Ingredients

1 can (16.5 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

4 large eggs

1/2 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter (for frying)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Prepare Cinnamon Rolls: Preheat your oven as per the instructions on the cinnamon roll package. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters for bite-sized pieces.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and sugar until well combined.

Coat the Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Take the pieces of cinnamon roll and dip them into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak briefly. Ensure each piece is coated but not overly soggy.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once melted and bubbling, add half of the soaked cinnamon roll pieces to the pan, being careful not to overcrowd the skillet.

Cook the Bites: Cook the bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and a little crispy. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sugar on top while they cook for added sweetness.

Keep Warm: Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease. Repeat the process with the remaining butter and cinnamon roll pieces.

Serve: Drizzle warm maple syrup over the bites and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
