1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts, optional)

For Serving:

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Apple Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Toss until the apples are evenly coated. Pour this mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
