Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 4 slices)

1/4 cup sliced green onions (for garnish)

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup breadcrumbs (for a crispy coating; optional)

Olive oil or cooking spray (for baking)

Instructions

Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you prefer a crispy coating, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.

Make the Creamy Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until you have a smooth, creamy texture.

Coat the Chicken: In a large bowl, add the chicken tenders. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken and toss to ensure each tender is well coated.

Add Cheese and Bacon: Once the chicken is fully coated, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the mixture, gently folding them in so they stick to the chicken.

Breadcrumb Coating (Optional): If you want a crispy exterior, dip each coated tender into the breadcrumbs, covering all sides.

Bake the Tenders: Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C) and the edges are golden.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oven. Allow them to rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle sliced green onions over the top and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce!
