For the Chicken Alfredo Sauce:

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Lasagna:

9 lasagna noodles (no-boil or regular)

2 cups fresh spinach (optional)

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken Alfredo Sauce:

    - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

      - Stir in the heavy cream and milk, then reduce the heat to low. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

        - Add the shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. Set aside.

          Prepare the Lasagna Layers:

            - If using regular lasagna noodles, cook them according to package instructions until al dente; drain well, and set aside. If using no-boil noodles, you can use them directly.

              - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

                Assemble the Lasagna:

                  - In a large baking dish (approximately 9x13 inches), spread a thin layer of the chicken Alfredo sauce on the bottom.

                    - Lay 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

                      - Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, then add a layer of spinach (if using) and top with one-third of the remaining chicken Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

                        - Repeat the layering process: add 3 more noodles, remaining ricotta cheese, spinach (if using), half of the remaining chicken Alfredo sauce, and another 1/2 cup of mozzarella.

                          - Finally, place the last 3 noodles on top, cover with the remaining chicken Alfredo sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

                            Bake the Lasagna:

                              - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (to prevent the cheese from burning) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                                - Remove from the oven and let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy indulgence!
