Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon:

    - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

      Sear the Salmon:

        - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

          - Once the butter is sizzling, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is cooked halfway through.

            - Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.

              Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

                - In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and melt over medium heat.

                  - Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but be careful not to let it burn.

                    - Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring regularly for about 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.

                      Add Flavor:

                        - Stir in the lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

                          - Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

                            Combine:

                              - Return the seared salmon to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the fillets. Let it cook together for another minute to heat through.

                                Garnish and Serve:

                                  - Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
