Ingredients

1 lb potato gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Additional Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Gnocchi: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add Cream and Cheese: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while mixing until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.

Season the Sauce: Sprinkle in the garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir everything together until well combined.

Combine Gnocchi and Sauce: Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss gently to coat the gnocchi evenly with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy your delightful creamy garlic Parmesan gnocchi!
