1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Fresh basil leaves and extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Spaghetti:

    - In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Sauce:
