1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

6-8 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

12-16 slices of bacon, cut in half

Toothpicks, soaked in water (for holding the wraps)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

      Stuff the Jalapeños: Take each halved jalapeño and fill it with the cheese mixture. Use a small spoon to ensure it's packed in well.

        Wrap the Chicken: Take a piece of chicken and place it over the stuffed jalapeño. Then, wrap a half-slice of bacon around the chicken and jalapeño. Secure it with a toothpick. Repeat until all chicken and jalapeños are wrapped.

          Arrange and Season: Place the bacon-wrapped chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet. You can sprinkle a little extra garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper on top for added flavor, if desired.

            Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
