1 lb ground chicken

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped

1/2 cup carrots, shredded

1/4 cup green onions, sliced

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

8-10 large iceberg or butter lettuce leaves

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

    Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
