Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss well until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

Make the Honey Mustard Dressing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth and well combined.

Coat the Brussels Sprouts: Pour the honey mustard dressing over the Brussels sprouts in the large bowl. Toss until each sprout is fully coated in the delicious mixture.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut-side down for maximum crispiness.

Bake to Crispy Perfection: Bake the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Flip the sprouts halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

Add Cheese (if using): If you like cheesy Brussels sprouts, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of baking.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color, and enjoy warm as a side dish or a delightful appetizer!
