Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup ranch dressing (for serving)

Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Soak the Cauliflower: In a large mixing bowl, pour the buttermilk over the cauliflower florets, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let them soak for about 15 minutes to tenderize and infuse flavor.

Prepare the Coating: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Create the Crunchy Coating: In a separate bowl, place the Panko breadcrumbs. Take the cauliflower florets out of the buttermilk one by one, allowing any excess to drip off, then dredge each floret in the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Finally, roll it in the Panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Place the coated cauliflower poppers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they don’t touch to allow for even cooking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the poppers are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.

Enjoy: Serve the Crunchy Ranch Cauliflower Poppers warm as a delightful snack, appetizer, or party treat!
