Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

½ cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)

¼ cup granola (your favorite or homemade)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

4 slices of whole-grain bread

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into ¼ inch thick rounds. Set aside.

Blend the Berries: In a mixing bowl, mash the mixed berries gently with a fork. You can leave some whole for added texture. If using strawberries, chop them into smaller pieces before smashing.

Make the Yogurt Mix: In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if desired), and a pinch of salt to taste. Stir until well combined.

Assemble the Sandwiches: On two slices of whole-grain bread, spread a generous layer of the yogurt mix. Top with a layer of mashed berries and then a few banana slices. Sprinkle granola over the bananas for added crunch.

Top and Sprinkle: Place the other two slices of bread on top to complete the sandwiches. You can press down slightly to help hold everything together. If you like, sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on the outside of the sandwiches.

Freeze the Sandwiches: Wrap each sandwich tightly in plastic wrap or place them in an airtight container. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until fully frozen.

Serve: Once frozen, remove from the wraps or container, cut in half if desired, and serve immediately! Perfect for a hot day or as a fun snack for kids and adults alike!
