Ingredients

1 pound steak tips (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

12 ounces rigatoni pasta

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy cream

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Cook the Rigatoni:

Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Steak Tips:

While the pasta is cooking, season the steak tips with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and sizzling, add the steak tips, cooking for about 3–5 minutes until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.

          Create the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

              Make the Cheesy Sauce:

Pour in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir well to combine, then reduce the heat to low. Gradually add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

                  Combine Pasta with Sauce:

Add the drained rigatoni to the cheesy garlic sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.

Return the Steak to the Skillet:

Add the cooked steak tips back into the skillet with the cheesy rigatoni. Toss everything together, allowing the steak to heat through for an additional minute. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired.

                          Serve:

Divide the flavorful steak tips with cheesy rigatoni among plates. Garnish with fresh parsley on top. Enjoy your meal!
