Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh herbs (additional parsley and dill), for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and set aside.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Place Salmon in Dish: Arrange the seasoned salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down (if skin is present).

Spread the Herb Butter: Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to evenly spread the garlic herb butter mixture over the tops of each salmon fillet.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Broil for Extra Flavor (Optional): For a crispy top, switch to broil mode and broil the fillets for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and transfer to plates. Garnish with additional fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy: Pair with a fresh salad, steamed vegetables, or your favorite side dish for a delicious meal!
