4 ripe bananas, sliced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

For the crumble topping:

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the filling:

      - In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced bananas with lemon juice, vanilla extract, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Gently toss until the bananas are evenly coated. Pour this mixture into a greased 9-inch (23 cm) baking dish.

        Make the crumble topping:

          - In another bowl, mix together rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and sea salt.

            - Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. If using walnuts and nutmeg, fold them in until well combined.

              Assemble the dish:

                - Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the banana mixture in the baking dish.

                  Bake:
