4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

4 cups broccoli florets

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade for later. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the remaining marinade over them. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

    Prepare the Broccoli: While the salmon is marinating, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Drain and plunge the broccoli into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again and set aside.

      Cook the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Place the marinated salmon on the baking sheet, skin side down. Drizzle with the reserved marinade. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

        Sauté the Broccoli: While the salmon is baking, heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil, followed by the cooked broccoli. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
