Ingredients

1 can (10 count) refrigerated biscuit dough

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely diced

1/2 small green bell pepper, finely chopped

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Biscuit Cups:

      - Open the tube of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.

        - Flatten each biscuit slightly and fit them into the wells of a greased muffin tin, pressing the dough up the sides to form a cup.

          Cook the Meat Mixture:

            - In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef.

              - Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat, if necessary.

                - Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are soft.

                  Add Flavors:

                    - Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

                      - Let the mixture simmer for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and thickened slightly.

                        Assemble the Cups:

                          - Remove the skillet from heat.

                            - Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly into each biscuit cup in the muffin tin.

                              Top with Cheese:

                                - Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of each cup.

                                  Bake:

                                    - Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

                                      Garnish and Serve:

                                        - Allow the biscuit cups to cool for a couple of minutes.

                                          - Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
