Mini Turkey & Avocado Breakfast Sliders

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried oregano

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 ripe avocado, sliced

4 mini slider buns (whole grain or regular)

1/2 cup shredded lettuce

1/4 cup sliced tomato

2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

Olive oil (for cooking)

Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

    Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape them into slider-sized patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.

      Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color. Ensure that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

        Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, you can toast the mini slider buns in a separate pan or pop them in the oven for a few minutes until they are slightly golden.

          Assemble the Sliders: Once the patties are cooked and the buns are toasted, start assembling the sliders.
