Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups uncooked penne pasta

4 cups beef broth

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup frozen peas

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Brown the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the diced onion to the pot and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Add the uncooked penne pasta, beef broth, ranch seasoning, and paprika to the pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients, making sure the pasta is submerged in the liquid.

Cook the Pasta: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

Make it Creamy: Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Add the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Season and Serve: Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Remove from heat and let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
