4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Breading Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, dried herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.

      Prepare the Egg Wash: In another bowl, whisk the eggs until they are fully blended and frothy.

        Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure they are moisture-free. This will help the coating adhere better.

          Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring it's thoroughly coated. Then, transfer the chicken to the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres well. Repeat with all chicken breasts.

            Heat the Pan: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts.

              Sear the Chicken: Cook the chicken for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

                Bake the Chicken: After searing, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
