Ingredients

For the Pimento Cheese:

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup pimentos, diced (drained)

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Burgers:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other preferred toppings

Optional: Extra pimento cheese for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Pimento Cheese:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced pimentos, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

      - Mix until well combined and creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Refrigerate while you prepare the burger patties.

        Make the Burger Patties:

          - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently, being careful not to overwork the meat.

            - Divide the meat into 8 equal portions (about 4 oz each). Flatten each portion into a thin patty.

              Stuff the Patties:

                - Place about a tablespoon of the pimento cheese mixture in the center of 4 of the patties.

                  - Carefully cover each with another patty and seal the edges by pinching them together, ensuring the cheese is sealed inside.

                    Cook the Burgers:

                      - Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet surface.

                        - Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. If desired, add extra pimento cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

                          Assemble the Burgers:

                            - Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster for added texture.

                              - Layer with lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles on the bottom bun. Place the stuffed burger on top, and if you like, add more pimento cheese before placing the top bun.

                                Serve:

                                  - Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a salad. Enjoy your delicious Pimento Cheese Stuffed Burgers!
