Ingredients

12 ounces jumbo pasta shells

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.

Mix in Sauces: Stir in the tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook on low for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Fill the Shells: Gently mix the beef mixture with half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with a generous spoonful of the beef mixture. Arrange the stuffed shells in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Top with Cheese: Once all the shells are arranged, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
