12 lasagna noodles

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 egg

2 cups spinach, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 cups marinara sauce

Olive oil for drizzling

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by spreading 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly at the bottom.

    Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.

      In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped spinach, minced garlic, fresh basil, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

        Lay out each lasagna noodle on a clean surface. Spread about 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken and herb mixture evenly along the length of each noodle.

          Roll up each noodle tightly from one end to the other. Place the roll-ups seam side down in the prepared baking dish. Repeat with all noodles.

            Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the roll-ups, ensuring they are well covered. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

              Drizzle lightly with olive oil and cover the dish with aluminum foil.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                  Remove from the oven and let the roll-ups sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
