8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup scallops, cleaned

1 cup clams, shelled (or canned clams, rinsed)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta:

    - In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, drain, and set aside.

      Sauté the Seafood:

        - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

          - Add the shrimp and scallops, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp is pink and the scallops are golden brown.

            - Stir in the clams and cook for an additional minute until heated through. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

              Create the Alfredo Sauce:

                - In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

                  - Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and the reserved pasta water. Mix continuously until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.

                    Combine:

                      - Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta fully.

                        - Gently fold in the sautéed seafood until everything is well combined and heated through. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, and lemon zest for brightness.

                          Serve:
