Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 ripe avocado, diced

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

½ cup diced cherry tomatoes

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

8-10 large romaine or butter lettuce leaves

Sliced jalapeños and additional cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Avocado Mix: In a separate bowl, gently mix the diced avocado, lime juice, cherry tomatoes, and chopped cilantro. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Wraps: Take a lettuce leaf and spoon a dollop of the avocado mixture into the center. Top with a few pieces of the spicy shrimp.

Garnish and Serve: For an extra kick, add sliced jalapeños and sprinkle with additional cilantro as desired. Roll up the lettuce leaf to enclose the filling and enjoy!
