Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained

1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 package (2 sheets) refrigerated puff pastry

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, thawed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Add garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out the Puff Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry to an approximate 12x12-inch square. Cut into 2-3 inch wide strips. Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry.

Fill the Pastry Strips: Take one strip of puff pastry and place a generous tablespoon of the filling at one end. Fold the opposite end of the pastry over the filling and twist the pastry around to seal it.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the twisted pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Once all strips are filled and twisted, brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are puffed and golden brown.

Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. These twists pair perfectly with a marinara or a creamy dip for drizzling or dipping.
