Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, finely grated

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon sesame oil (for cooking)

1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over the top, making sure to coat each fillet evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 1 hour for deeper flavor.

Heat the Pan: After marinating, remove the salmon from the refrigerator. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Salmon: Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then gently flip the fillets. Pour the remaining marinade over the salmon. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Glaze the Salmon: As the salmon cooks, spoon the sauce from the pan over the fillets to help glaze them. This step enhances flavor and creates a nice caramelized finish.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet and place it on a serving plate. Drizzle any leftover glaze over the top. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Accompany: Serve with lime wedges on the side for a fresh burst of flavor. Pair with steamed rice, quinoa, or your favorite vegetables for a complete meal.
