Ingredients

1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sticky Sauce:

¼ cup honey

¼ cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

1 clove garlic, minced

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Cauliflower: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk in the almond milk until a smooth batter forms.

Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated. Next, roll them in the panko breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Place the cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Cauliflower: Drizzle olive oil over the coated cauliflower florets. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Sticky Sauce: While the cauliflower is baking, in a small saucepan, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and minced garlic. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.

Toss the Cauliflower: Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and place it in a large mixing bowl. Pour the sticky sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently until all the florets are well coated.

Serve: Transfer the sticky Sriracha honey cauliflower to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy immediately while still warm!
