For the cream cheese layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

For the strawberry layer:

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup boiling water

6 oz strawberry Jell-O

1 cup cold water

Instructions

Prepare the Pretzel Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a large bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.

        - Press the pretzel mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

          - Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

            Make the Cream Cheese Layer:

              - In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.

                - Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to mix until fully combined.

                  - Fold in the whipped topping gently until no streaks remain.

                    - Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust, smoothing it into an even layer.

                      Prepare the Strawberry Layer:

                        - In a heatproof bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until fully dissolved.

                          - Add the 1 cup of cold water to the Jell-O mixture and stir to combine.

                            - Allow it to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to cool slightly, then gently fold in the sliced strawberries.

                              Assemble the Salad:

                                - Pour the strawberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.

                                  - Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the Jell-O is fully set.

                                    Serve:

                                      - Once set, slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your Strawberry Pretzel Delight as a refreshing dessert!
