Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Dice them into small pieces, ensuring to remove the pit. Finely chop the red onion, red bell pepper, and jalapeño.

Combine the Base: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches, chopped red onion, diced red bell pepper, and minced jalapeño.

Add Freshness: Fold in the chopped cilantro, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.

Dress the Salsa: Squeeze the juice of two limes into the mixture. If you prefer a sweeter salsa, add the tablespoon of honey.

Seasoning: Season the salsa with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything together gently to avoid mashing the peaches.

Chill and Serve: For the best flavor, let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, allowing the flavors to meld. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, atop grilled chicken, or as a topping for tacos.
