Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or spinach for extra flavor)

8 ounces sliced turkey breast (deli-style or your favorite)

8 slices Swiss cheese

1 cup baby spinach leaves

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened (can substitute with flavored cream cheese)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh herbs (like dill or chives), finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Spread: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and Dijon mustard until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If using fresh herbs, stir them in as well for added flavor.

Assemble the Base: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean cutting board or large plate. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving about half an inch of the edge free for better rolling.

Layer the Ingredients: Place 2 slices of turkey evenly across the tortilla. Then, layer 2 slices of Swiss cheese followed by a handful of baby spinach leaves. If you are using roasted red peppers, arrange them on top.

Roll the Pinwheel: Starting from one end, carefully but tightly roll the tortilla until you reach the edge. Make sure to keep the fillings inside as you roll. Once rolled, gently press the seam to seal it.

Slice the Pinwheels: Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch-sized pinwheels. You can secure them with toothpicks if desired for easier serving.

Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve immediately. Feel free to garnish with extra fresh herbs or a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
